In the Competition @ DelFest

Great news! we got a call from the nice people at DelFest today. Letting us know that we’re now in the band competion as well. We will still be playing our 30 min set on Friday but we’ll also be playing another 15 min in the actuall competion infront of the judges. So now if we do well and win we could wind up on the main stage. Pretty cool.

CD is finished!!!

Uncategorized — Matt @ 10:01 am

So after about a year of talking about our CD and not doing much at all. Well can you blame us it’s been a whirlwind since last Fall. Gigs all over the place, a band split between philly and york and add in one expecting father, no wonder.

But we did it. We bought 4 hours of Studio time and we set up some mics and started to play. We think it turned out pretty good. I hope you like it. Here’s a sneak peak. For the first time anywhere. Sauerkraut

HogMaw to play DelFest!!!!

Uncategorized — Tags: — Matt @ 10:54 am

We’re so excited we’re going to play DelFest!!! We applied for their bluegrass band competition and for one reason or another they did not have space for us in the competition itself. but we must have impressed someone because a few days after we got word on not getting into the contest we were offered what they call a 30 min exposure slot on the campground stage! which is pretty freekin awesome because now we can bring the Electric Bass (not allowed in the competition) and we actually get more stage time than if we were in the contest

Finally in the Studio

Uncategorized — Matt @ 7:54 am
